Monica, a native from Yonkers, NY, has lived in South Florida since the age of 15. For many years, she worked in the corporate world. However, her natural instinct to help people motivated her to go back to school for massage. She graduated from National School of Technology and received her Massage Therapy license in 2000. Monica also became a Certified Infant Massage Teacher (CIMT) in 2008. She enjoys teaching parents to understand their baby’s unique language and cues with massage. She enjoys helping them understand the benefit from massage and its ability to form a stronger bond. Monica has always been into fitness and wellness, in 2012 she received her certification as both a cycle and Zumba instructor. Monica is a part of the Zumba Instructor Network since she became certified in 2012. In April 2014, she finished her Reiki III level receiving certification as a Reiki Master. She is currently enrolled in TLC Academy where is preparing herself to help others improve their lives, and to support and encourage others to reach their goals in life by becoming a “transformational life coach.”
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Laurence Mair graduated from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY in 2002. He has been practicing in South Florida since 2005, after 3 years in New Orleans. He completed his Bachelors in Chemistry studies at the University of New Orleans.
In August 2014, he took over a long established practice of Dr. John Gentile, and is commited to continuing the same level of care to all his past patients.
Dr. Mair is passionate about educating his patients and the community about the benefits of chiropractic care. He educates his patients on a broad range of wellness topics, including natural healthcare, nutrition, fitness, and injury prevention. His mission is to expand the knowledge of the true meaning of health and wellness.
He is is originally from Kingston, Jamaica, and married to Rachel. Together they have 2 Belgian Malinois dogs, Kingston and Kaya. He is active in Crossbridge Chruch, loves Formula 1 racing and enjoys racing 100 mph go karts for fun. He also desires to become more proficient in Spanish to better serve the Latin community of South Florida.
Dr. Gentile is a native of Miami. He graduated in 1972 Cum Laude from Lincoln Chiropractic College, and has been practicing in the South Miami area since. He also has post graduates in Orthopedics, Radiology, Sports Injuries, and Impairment ratings.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Chiropractic Association, in the House of Delegates for the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Chairman of the Finance Committee and Insurance and Managed Care Committee of the ACA, Chairman of the ACA Board of Governors, as an Examiner for the State of Florida Board of Chiropractors, and on Medical Advisory Panels for United Health Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Humana.
After a long, distinguished career serving the community, Dr. Gentile has decided to 'hang up his [chiropractic] hat'. However, you can't slow him down. He continues to practice Acupunture when he's not traveling the world with his wife, Joanne and son, Jeremy.
